“Love, Sex, and the IRS”

Brandon, MS – Black Rose Theatre Company announces auditions for the highly requested encore presentation of “Love, Sex, and the IRS”. Auditions will be held Tuesday April 19^th and Wednesday April 20^th @ 7:00 PM and will take place at Black Rose Theatre - 103 Black Street, Brandon , MS

Performance Dates and Times: June 2nd-4th @ 7:30 pm & June 5th @ 2:00.

Roles available for Adult males and females of varying ages

Synopsis: Jon Trachtman and Leslie Arthur are out of work musicians who room together in New York City . To save money, Jon has been filing tax returns listing the pair as a married. The day of reckoning comes when the Internal Revenue Service informs the "couple" they're going to be investigated by a Mr. Spinner. Leslie masquerades as a housewife, aided by Jon's fiancée, Kate. Complicating matters further Leslie and Kate are having an affair behind Jon's back, Jon's mother drops in unexpectedly to meet her son's fiancée, and Leslie's ex girlfriend shows up demanding to know why Leslie has changed and won't see her anymore.

Prayer Request

You may or may not know but I have been having a lot of health issues for about 5-6 weeks. It started with a sore throat and a cough then a temperature. I went to the Dr they said I had the flu. My fever went away but the cough got worse and I started feeling worse. I went back to the Dr and they gave me an antibiotic and a different cough medicine and and inhaler. A week later I was still coughing. I went to my regular Dr who gave me an antibiotic shot, nasal spray, and an allergy pill. I started feeling better and then around the 16th of march I started getting short of breath and coughing again. I made it to Monday and went back to my Dr again. We did a chest x-ray and he said I still had inflammation in my lungs. Since then I have limited all my activities to pretty much going to work and then coming home. I now have 3 inhalers and some other medicine that I have been taking. I started feeling a little better earlier in the week but throughout the day today I have started coughing again, my throat is sore and I am congested. I have a follow up Dr appt next week. He said if I was still having problems they would do some additional testing on my lungs. I can honestly tell you I have NEVER been sick for this long. I am really starting to get worried that something major is going on and we just haven't discovered it yet.

Please pray that I will not only start to feel better but that I can stay better and that they Dr can figure out what is the cause of all these issues.

Wizard of Oz

If you know me well at all you know I LOVE WIZARD OF OZ. I started collecting figurines, snow globes, dolls, etc.. when I was in high school. My collections just keeps growing and growing. Whenever people as what they can get me I always tell them you can't go wrong with Wizard of Oz items. The first I was married to Kris his parents bought me a whole collection of dolls and a display cabinet. Since then I have gotten another cabinet and many more things. I plan to one day put up a tree and keep it up year around with all my ornaments that I normally only get to display at Christmas. Last week we did some rearranging in the living room and I moved my cabinets so they are now side by side. The first 2 are the before pics and the ones below them are the after. My best friend Dani did a great job creating organizing them

Bachelor 15

I just watched the finale again and I still have to say next to my own proposal that was the best proposal I have ever heard. Very romantic and spoken from the heart.

I love the two of them together and I hope they can work their relationship out. They both seem very dedicated and definitely in love with each other. I think staying out of the press and focusing on their relationship is what they need to do right now.

It never fails...

Kris and I both like to watch both MMA and Pro Wrestling. It never fails when we are watching wrestling and Robbie comes in the room Nexus is ALWAYS on the screen. It is so funny!!
